It is critical to understand what the rights and policies are in the workplace for employees with disabilities.
Recently the, NCSL (National Conference of State Legislators) partnered with SEED (State Exchange on Employment & Disability) to analyze 144 enacted bills from the 2019 legislative sessions related to disability employment. Their goal was to find the bills that aligned with the Work Matters framework. The Work Matters framework is a policy that is meant to serve as a resource for policymakers who are wanting to create policies that insure inclusion for students and workers with disabilities.
