Disability:IN SoCal is a proud affiliate of Disability:IN and is a nonprofit organization that helps empower businesses to achieve disability inclusion and equality in the workplace, supply chain, and marketplace.

We assist partners including government agencies, businesses, nonprofits, and others across Southern California in meeting their employment needs in developing, recruiting and hiring qualified individuals with disabilities.

Disability:IN is the national disability organization that serves as the collective voice of over 60 Business Leadership Network affiliates across North America, representing over 5,000 employers and helps build workplaces, marketplaces, and supply chains where people with disabilities are respected for their talents, while supporting the development and expansion of its affiliates. Disability:In recognizes and supports best practices in the employment and advancement of people with disabilities; the preparedness for work of youth and students with disabilities; marketing to consumers with disabilities; and contracting with vendors with disabilities through the development and certification of disability-owned businesses.

Mission
Disability:IN Southern California’s mission is to provide businesses with information how to proactively include people with disabilities, including transitioning veterans, in the workforce, educational institutions and B2B with an emphasis on the benefits of inclusion.

Vision

“Our vision is to see as many differently-abled people as possible advance in education, find a job, start a business and change their lives. Now more than ever, we need to show the world that having a disability is not an obstacle.”  —Mona Lisa Faris
